H20 — From building to future-proof ecosystem

H20 has evolved from a leading esports campus and organization conceived in 2017 and opened in 2019 to become the heart of the area's development. What once began as a visionary esports campus started by Dirk Tuip, Matthijs Vink, and Johan de Punder, supported by Rabobank, the Municipality of Purmerend, and investor Frits Dix, is now transforming into a vibrant area where living, learning, working, and life come together. With the E|Sports Tech Campus as the umbrella organization of which H20 is a part, we are creating a place where people and talent can grow, perform, and innovate.

At the heart of this campus is H20, where we make an impact in five areas:
Event location – high-quality events that inspire and connect.
Entertainment – gaming, esports, and creative experiences for a wide audience.
Education – talent development and learning-by-doing for young people aged 10-29.
Estate – campus development and innovative workplaces.
Esports – applying a top-level sports mentality to gaming, sports, education, and careers.
