Together with Museon Omniversum, H20 uses gaming as a tool for education, creativity, and social impact.
Together with Museon Omniversum, H20 uses educational gaming as a powerful tool for social impact. During Minecraft workshops, young people build climate-proof solutions for The Hague, the city of tomorrow. Through interactive workshops and creative assignments, visitors are playfully engaged with themes such as sea level rise, sustainability, and urban development, with a focus on learning, designing, and collaborating.
Collaboration with impact
The collaboration between H20 and Museon Omniversum demonstrates how educational gaming can contribute to social change. By combining education with interactive gaming experiences, young people are actively engaged in topics such as sustainability, climate adaptation, and urban development. Together, H20 and Museon Omniversum create a learning environment that brings together creativity, technology, and awareness, where visitors not only observe but also contribute to building solutions for the future.

Minecraft workshops
In specially developed Minecraft workshops, children and young people tackle real-world issues. Under the guidance of H20 coaches, they design their own sustainable city, come up with smart water solutions, and learn to collaborate in a digital environment. These workshops make complex themes accessible and fun, and stimulate problem-solving thinking, teamwork, and imagination, turning educational gaming into an active and inspiring learning experience.

The Hague below sea level
The Hague Below Sea Level is an interactive Minecraft experience in which young people work on a digital version of The Hague and are challenged to design solutions for climate issues such as flooding and sea level rise. In collaboration with H20, Minecraft ambassadors and visitors developed sustainable ideas such as floating neighborhoods, green infrastructure, and smart water solutions.

Gaming as a learning tool for the future
H20 demonstrates that educational gaming is much more than entertainment. Within this collaboration, Minecraft is used as a powerful educational tool that motivates young people to actively contribute ideas about social challenges. Learning through play creates engagement, ownership, and inspiration. H20 and Museon Omniversum believe that this form of learning is essential to prepare the next generation for tomorrow's world.

The project received national attention, including in De Telegraaf. The article emphasizes how Minecraft is used to encourage children to think about the consequences of sea level rise and possible solutions for a city by the sea in a playful way, an approach that involves young people in important future themes in an accessible and appealing way.
