What is the Sports & Gaming Championship Purmerend?

The Sports & Gaming Championship Purmerend 2026 is the championship for young people aged 8 to 18 from Purmerend. This unique tournament is not only about gaming, but also about exercise and sports.

Participants compete in teams of two players in various games and sports events, such as Fortnite, EA FC, Mario Kart, and sports challenges. This allows them to prove that they are true all-round Sports & Gaming Champions.
The best teams have a chance to win great prizes, including cash prizes and gaming hardware.

From kick-off to final

The championship kicks off on Friday, February 28, 2026, when participants can play games for free and practice. This will be followed by four qualifying evenings, which will take place on Wednesday evenings at the H20 Esports Tech Hub.

During the qualifiers, teams compete for a spot in the grand final. The best teams in each age category qualify for the final battle at the Rabo Esports Stadium.

The grand finale

The grand finale will take place on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the Rabo Esports Stadium on the H20 Esports Campus.
Here, the best teams from Purmerend will compete against each other on the main stage, with live matches, a professional presenter, and a unique esports atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy additional activities and catering, while the participants compete for the title.

– You are between 8 and 18 years old

– You live in Purmerend

– Participation is completely free of charge.

– Under 18 years of age → parental/guardian consent required
