How can I participate?
- You are between 8 and 18 years old
- You live in the municipality of Purmerend.
- Participation is completely free of charge.
- Under 18 years of age → parental/guardian consent required

What is the Sports & Gaming Championship Purmerend?
TheSports & Gaming Championship Purmerend 2026is the championship for young people aged8 to 18 from Purmerend. This unique tournament is not only about gaming, but also aboutexercise and sports.
Participants compete in teams oftwo players in various games and sports events, such asFortnite, EA FC, Mario Kart, and sports challenges. This is how they prove that they are true all-round Sports & Gaming Champions!
Ages 8 to 12 participate in: EAFC, Mario Kart & Sports Challenges!
Ages 12 to 18 participatein: EAFC, Fortnite & Sports Challenges!
Registration is open until April 21, 2026! You only need to qualify for the finals once, so if you don't make it the first time, you'll have more chances! The highest score counts!
The best teams have a chance to wingreat prizes, includingcash prizes and cool gaming hardware!
From the E|SPORTS TECH CAMPUS, we are organizing the Sports & Gaming Championship Purmerend 2026 together with H20!
From Kick-off to Finale
The championship kicks off onFriday, February 27, 2026, from 10 :00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., when participants can play games for free and practice for the qualifiers! This will be followed by four qualifying evenings, which will take place on Wednesday evenings at H20.
During the qualifiers, teams compete for a spot in the grand final. The best teams in each age category qualify for the final battle at theRabo Esports Stadium.
Thegrand finalewill take place onWednesday, April 29, 2026, at theRabo Esports Stadiumat H20.
Here, the best teams from Purmerend will compete against each other on the main stage, with live matches, a professional presenter, and a unique esports atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy additional activities and catering, while the participants compete for the title.
