H20 Esports Campus Amsterdam and Fangage join forces on music and esports in new partnership

H20 Esports Campus Amsterdam has started a partnership with Fangage, the multimedia content platform for influencers and companies to better connect with their fans. Providing and protecting exclusive content is the basis of the partnership.

Top sport and top music join forces. H20 Esports Campus founders Dirk Tuip and Matthijs Vink spent years going around the world in top-class handball and the world-famous Dutch DJ Sam Feldt did the same when it came to music. Now is the time for these two disciplines to come together!

H20 will work with Fangage to create more engagement in the esports, gaming and influencer community so that fans get an even better and more valuable experience.

In Fangage, fans of a company or brand, in this case H20 Esports Campus, pay for exclusive content with their own data. People can get access to certain content by building up their fan score. They can do this by linking their data to the H20 page on Fangage. The consumers get exclusive content and we as H20 can connect with our 'fans' in a better way.

H20 Esports Campus has been using the premium version of Fangage, called Legend Fangage, for quite some time now. At H20, we use the capabilities of the Fangage platform to provide specific memberships for gamers and other interested parties who want to use our services.

Members can sign up for various modules including Rocket League, Minecraft, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, game streaming and many more via our own H20 page on Fangage. By using Fangage we can deliver exclusive content to the members who have signed up for a module. For example, the FIFA players get the latest tricks explained in a video by the FIFA trainers from the H20 Esports Campus.

H20 has been working closely with the Fangage team for some time now. We provide feedback during the creation of the platform and the enthusiastic Fangage team takes every opportunity to improve their product.

According to Matthijs Vink of H20 Esports Campus Amsterdam, the cooperation with Fangage provides many new opportunities in the field of targeted content and customer contact. "Also, there is now a great place to share all the exclusive content, there is so much content available and Fangage helps H20 Esports Campus a lot to make that happen. We look forward to a great partnership for our esports fans!"

Sam Feldt, the famous Dutch DJ and founder of Fangage, is excited about the collaboration with H20 Esports Campus. "With this exclusive partnership, Fangage is able to serve the booming esports market even better. Together with H20 we will work on the ultimate platform for fan engagement & monetization in the esports world, reaching a huge amount of teams, players and tournaments through the extensive network of both of us."

H20 Esports Campus Amsterdam and Faber Audiovisuals have entered into an intensive cooperation. Both companies are progressive and leading when it comes to innovative techniques and want to use the cooperation to strengthen their strength in working with these new technologies. Innovation and education are the key words for the partnership.
At this moment the first concrete steps are being taken to shape the cooperation. In the Rabo Esports Stadium within the H20 Esports Campus, Faber employees are building a new high-end virtual streaming studio. The new studio is equipped with the most modern techniques, which creates an infinite range of innovative possibilities for clients to make productions from the studio. Online, interactive, hybrid, streaming, the possibilities are numerous and the visual experiences impressive.
Both Faber Audiovisuals and H20 Esports Campus already explicitly link their innovation and creativity to training and education. The existing training courses will be optimally combined and will strengthen each other. The expertise brought in by both parties generates an even better connection between education and contemporary practical needs. Innovative techniques such as streaming, Unreal, AR and VR are used in Esports and Gaming, but also within event technology. The many possibilities of working in the event-technology are even better highlighted within the various courses by linking the expertise of both companies.

According to Matthijs Vink of H20 Esports Campus Amsterdam, the extended partnership with Faber provides a great innovation within the H20 Campus . "An innovation based on VR and AR technology that is applicable to TV, streaming as well as Gaming and Esports. The aim is to offer added value to parties who want to offer a unique viewing experience to their fans, customers and business relations. Together with Faber, we will also educate young people and those who are interested. Students will be trained in the latest technologies and in this way prepared for the jobs of the future, in both broadcasting as well as Gaming and Esports."
Cees Jan Faber, ceo of Faber Audiovisuals endorses this. "The youth has the future. In the new world of technological developments, we need young talent. The techniques of Esports and Gaming perfectly match the current developments in event technology. The opportunities for jobs in this sector are still too unfamiliar to students. We would like to change this. To make young people enthusiastic for this wonderful profession. In addition, in an innovative environment like the H20 Campus, the studio is a fantastic venue to serve clients."

Horizon College starts cooperation with Bit Academy at H20

After the summer holidays, the Software Developer course has started in the H20 esports campus. This is a course offered by Horizon College in Purmerend in close collaboration with Bit Academy, an initiative aimed at better linking ICT education to the job market. The students learn from seniors and coaches how to deal with the rapid developments within this field in a different way. They work on realistic assignments from the business world. The partnership with Bit Academy fits in perfectly with the aims of the PurmerValley foundation. The foundation recently received a 2.5 million subsidy to develop and accelerate ICT projects in the Purmerend region.

During the Software Developer course, young people are trained to develop software for various applications such as websites, games and mobile apps. The H20 esports campus is also home to several young technology companies in order to stimulate cross-fertilisation between education and business.

The field has grown enormously due to the technological revolution of the past decades. The need for well-trained ICT personnel is therefore many times greater than the supply. New techniques and frameworks appear every month, which means that students must learn to deal with rapid changes. This requires a different form of education. One that revolves around learning and collaboration.

LEARNING AT YOUR OWN PACE

Students can choose their own direction and pace within the programme. The majority of the time, the student is busy with assignments from the business world, so they already get acquainted with it. Coaches from the business world with up-to-date experience guide the students and give workshops on current developments. Also 'in time learning' has been introduced: students have to investigate by themselves by trying things out. In doing so, they run into problems and are more open to absorbing material about the required method of working. Another important pillar is cooperation: you learn together instead of individually. Students are not only making assignments together, but also coaching each other, giving feedback and asking each other for help. By working together with Bit Academy, we expect to be able to help more young people develop their talents to meet the need for well-trained ICT staff in our region,' says Patrick Colli, ICT training manager at Horizon College.

BIT ACADEMY

The collaboration with BIT Academy is one of the initiatives to interest young people in training and a job in ICT. The PurmerValley Foundation, a partnership between the regional business community, education and the municipality of Purmerend, recently received a EUR 2.5 million subsidy to strengthen and enrich ICT education in the Purmerend region. The collaboration with Bit Academy contributes to this.

Stanno dives into esports via H20 Esports Campus

H20 Esports Campus has entered into a multi-year partnership with Stanno. Stanno is part of the Deventrade Group and a leader in teamwear, with a focus on the sporting Netherlands. With the partnership with H20, Stanno wants to get a footprint in esports. Together, a clothing line will be developed for H20 staff and Stanno will also provide H20 with a jersey for gamers/athletes and merchandising products.

Sport is our passion
Based on the two core values 'Product is king' and 'Sport is our passion', Stanno is a distinctive player on the international market. Marthijn Pothoven of Stanno: "In sports, everything revolves around the decisive moment. For that moment, Stanno develops essential products. We've been doing this for years within the sports world and we also see esports as a sport. This growth market has had our attention for some time now and we are happy to be visible through the largest location in the Netherlands. Esports in the Netherlands needs to continue to develop and both H20 and Stanno believe that our experience in sports can help with this."

H20 clothing, jerseys and merchandising
Matthijs Vink of H20: "I know Stanno from my time in the sports world and I know how they can give long-term substance to a partnership. They understand the sports world and listen very well to the athletes, which was a decisive factor for us. Within esports and gaming it is even more important to have a continuous dialogue with the target group. The partnership provides both clothing for the H20 team and a shirt for talented gamers who are active in the H20 Esports Gaming Club. In addition, there will also be H20 merchandising available to fans and spectators. We hope to present these to the world soon!
